Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 start time, date countdown and confirmed games

We have been treated to some great video game releases for the first half of the year, but now we are heading into the second half of 2024 with even bigger games set to release. Capcom is set to be a part of exciting games coming out with one ready to be previewed in just a couple of days. Here you will find the Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 start date and time countdown along with the confirmed games and how to watch.

As mentioned, the first half of the year has been strong in regard to video game releases, and Capcom has contributed with Dragon’s Dogma 2. For 2023, Capcom was first in the publisher ranking on Metacritic, and they hope to achieve a similar feat this year. In addition to Dragon’s Dogma 2 which is already out, we have the Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection set to launch sometime this year.

While the Marvel Fighting Collection is very exciting, there are other games to anticipate from the Japanese publisher. The Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 start date and time countdown is nearly over, and one of the confirmed games set to be exhibited is launching only a few weeks later.

The date for the Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 is July 1st. This has been confirmed by the official CapcomUSA_ Twitter account.

While the exhibition is exciting, there’s also the Steam Summer Sale happening right now. If you’re a fan of the Japanese publisher, there are many great games from them available at healthy discounts.

As part of the Capcom Summer Sale, many of the Resident Evil entries are 75% off, and there is also 67% discounts for the beloved Monster Hunter series. There’s massive discounts for Street Fighter and Devil May Cry, too, along with Mega Man and many more.

When does the Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 start?

The start time for the Capcom Next Summer Showcase 2024 is 3PM PT/6PM ET/11PM BST on July 1st. It is scheduled to last 25-minutes, so it will not eat up too much of your afternoon or evening.

Monster Hunter Wilds was shown off at Summer Game Fest, but, unfortunately, it will not be part of this upcoming exhibition. This is a tad disappointing, but it’s good to know ahead of the event so you are aware and not expecting anything.

Confirmed games

The confirmed games for the event are as follows:

• Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
• Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
• RESIDENT EVIL 7 biohazard for iPhone/iPad/Mac

These are the only games confirmed for the exhibition. The Dead Rising Remaster is exciting, but we’re equally excited to see more of Kunitsu-Gami. The release date for Kunitsu-Gami is July 19th, and, from what we’ve seen so far, it looks fantastic and completely unique.
