Landlords continue to get creative with their rental properties with one in Ebisu offering a Tesla car share for residents. A Tesla Model Y will be available for rental to the building’s residents from April.
The 500m2 corner site, located a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station, was previously home to an apartment building completed in 1989. The new, 6-story building has 24 apartments ranging from 36 ~ 91 m2 (387 ~ 979 sq.ft). The building was completed last month, with occupancy to start February 16. Tenants are offered free rent until the end of March.
Monthly rents look to be a little over 20,000 Yen per tsubo (6,000 Yen/m2), which is about 33% more than what the former apartment building on this site may have rented for.
The same landlord opened a rental apartment building in Meguro last year that offers tenants a free daily breakfast from the coffee shop on the ground floor.
