Porter Unveils Toronto-Saskatoon, Launches Ottawa-Calgary

Canadian carrier Porter Airlines has this week unveiled new flights between Toronto and Saskatoon, as well as launching Ottawa-Calgary too.

Such news from this week bolsters their presence in the country, with the Saskatchewan news meaning they now serve all 10 provinces for the first time in it’s history.

Porter Airlines To Launch Toronto-Saskatoon…

Starting on May 16 this year, Porter Airlines will begin services between Toronto and Saskatoon, using their Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

Below is the scheduling for these flights:

Route Departure Arrival
Toronto Pearson – Saskatoon 2:30 p.m. 4:04 p.m.
Saskatoon – Toronto Pearson 4:55 p.m. 10:09 p.m.

Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines had this to say on the new service:

“We are proud to connect Saskatoon and the province of Saskatchewan to Porter’s network for the first time in our history.”

“It solidifies our commitment to bringing the level of connectivity, service and generosity that travellers deserve across the country.”

“The Porter experience is unlike anything Saskatchewan is used to and we believe will become a favourite for local flyers.”

Ottawa-Calgary Flights Have Launched As Well…

As well as flights to Toronto and Saskatoon launching, the Canadian carrier this week began flights between Ottawa and Calgary.

Below is the scheduling for this:

Route Departure Arrival Flights Begin
Ottawa – Calgary 6:20 p.m. 8:49 p.m. February 14, 2024
Calgary – Ottawa 8:50 a.m. 2:40 p.m. February 15, 2024

Jackson also added to this, saying the following:

“Passengers love the Porter experience and we remain committed to delivering service and amenities that are unmatched in the industry for economy travellers.”

“This new route brings additional travel options to Calgary and reinforces our position in Canada’s capital with Porter’s extensive YOW network.”

It remains clear that the growth for the airline continues in strong intensity, and it’s routes like Toronto-Saskatoon and Ottawa-Calgary that provide further connectivity around the country.
