The pattern of toxic control and manipulation in a relationship is referred to as coercive control. “Coercive control, a form of emotional and psychological abuse, can be particularly damaging for those with Complex PTSD. This subtle yet insidious form of manipulation can deeply affect mental health and well-being,” wrote Therapist Linda Meredith. Here are a few signs of coercive control.(Unsplash)
