Easter with Avianca: 1.4 Million Seats and 3,900 Flights

Avianca Airlines announced will offer more than 1.4 million seats on over 3,900 flights to 75 destinations across America and Europe during Holy Week.

From Friday, March 22 to Monday, April 1, travelers can expect an exceptional array of options, with flight frequencies receiving a boost.

The number of seats for this holiday season has increased by almost a third, compared with Easter Week 2023.

Easter Capacity Boost

Rolando Damas, Avianca’s sales director for North America, Central America, and The Caribbean, proudly announced that compared to the previous year, the airline has significantly enhanced its seat capacity by nearly 26%.

Additionally, Avianca has increased the frequency of flights by an impressive 23%, across the Easter travel period.

Preferred Destinations

Among the preferred destinations for this season, standouts include Pereira, Cúcuta and Barranquilla in Colombia; Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Washington, D.C. in North America; El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica in Central America; Aruba and Curacao in the Caribbean; Quito and Galapagos in Ecuador; Rio de Janeiro in Brazil; and London in Europe

To ensure a smooth and stress-free travel experience during Holy Week, Avianca recommends the following tips for its passengers:

1. Utilize Digital Channels

  • Manage your reservation conveniently through Avianca’s user-friendly mobile app.
  • Check your luggage quickly and efficiently using the airport kiosks.

2. Embrace Self-Service Options

  • Take advantage of the automatic, self-service machines available at the airport for hassle-free baggage check-in.

3. Stay Informed

  • Stay updated on your flight status and important details through the Avianca app or the official website, Avianca.com.

4. Arrive Early

  • Arrive at the airport at least three hours before your flight’s departure time to ensure a seamless check-in process.

5. Prepare Documentation

  • Ensure that you have all the necessary documentation ready according to the specific travel requirements of your destination.
