Helldivers 2 players can now unlock the Commando Rocket Launcher following X-45 defense

The latest Helldivers 2 Major Order is complete, which saw players defend X+45 from the Automatons. Although it was a fairly easy one to complete, it still had its uncertain moments when a Strategic Alert diverted attention away from the planet. Along with granting much-needed Medals to complete the Viper Commandos Warbond, players have also unlocked the Commando Rocket Launcher.

How To Unlock The Commando Rocket Launcher

Now that the Major Order is complete, you can now unlock the iconic Commando Rocket Launcher to use in any mission, after having previously only been available on X-45. The Commando Rocket Launcher is surprisingly cheap at just 8,000 Requisition Slips.

To unlock it, go to the Ship Management computer on the left side of your ship when you first spawn in or complete a mission. Once using the computer, go to the Stratagem section and look for ‘Commando.’

Is The Commando Rocket Launcher Worth Using?

The Commando Rocket Launcher has proven to be a hit with players so far. Although some players don’t see it as being able to compete with the likes of the EAT and Spear, it does have a lot of use cases and is a viable weapon to carry. It is capable of firing four rockets and its call in time is fairly fast, meaning it won’t be long until you can get four more to fire at your enemies. It is certainly worth trying out to see whether it suits your play style.

Now that the latest Major Order is complete, players have a small window to regroup before having to fight the next battle in the Galactic War.
